Michael Oswald is a founding member of the Gift of Hope Funeral Care Advisory Council, which serves the community by supporting Gift of Hope’s mission to save lives through organ and tissue donation. In doing so, we honor the wishes of grieving families to donate the gifts of organ and tissue on behalf of their deceased loved ones. Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network is a not-for-profit organ procurement organization that coordinates organ and tissue donation and provides public education on donation in Illinois and northwest Indiana.

The Council advises Gift of Hope on end-of-life matters related to funeral services and how to work in close collaboration with funeral care professionals. Council members also provide their perspective on procedures related to the care of organ and tissue donors and their families.
