A. Faye Mammen, 83, of Delavan, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026 at her home.
She was born May 9, 1942 in Delavan to Frederick and Mary Alice Pullum Cheek. She married William “Bill” Mammen on October 28, 1960 in Delavan, and he passed away June 24, 2016.
Surviving are her children, Greg (Tina) Mammen of Delavan and Alice (Michael) Hitchcock of Cookeville, TN; five grandchildren, Bruce “Chip” Wagner, Shanda Mammen, Daniel (Kayla) Mammen, Joshua Matthews, and Joseph (Jerika) Matthews; five great grandchildren, Mia, Averi, Willo, Maliya, Kalli, Kaedan, and Londyne; and sisters-in-law, Helen Cheek of Metamora, Chris Bluhm of Delavan, and Karen Taylor of Morton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Emily Matthews; one great grandson, Grayson Wagner; two brothers, David and Fred Cheek; and her twin sister, Maye Rodriguez.
Faye graduated from Delavan High School and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed working with plants and loved being a grandmother.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 am Monday, February 23, 2026 at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan. Pastor Andy Goewey will officiate. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan is handling the arrangements.
