It is with great sadness that the family is announcing that Aimee D. Moser of Morton, IL has passed away at her home in the early moring hours of Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
Our beloved Aimee was born in Peoria on August 28th, 1971 and is the child of Kenneth and
Darlene Hoerr of Peoria, IL, who survive her. She graduated from Peoria Christian School in 1989 and attended Midstate College for her Undergraduates. A lifelong volunteer, she gave long and kind service to a number of charitable institutions, the most recent being Helping Hands.
She was a faithful member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont for many years.
She married Matthew J. Moser of Morton, IL on August 20th 1989, and they maintained a
faithful relationship till her passing. Matthew survives her and together they had two children; Matthew Moser Jr. and Rebecca Moser, the latter of which herself has an infant son, Lucius Allender. Also surviving her are two siblings: Scott Hoerr and Jamie Hoerr-Lundy, along with their spouses. Matthew Sr. likewise has three surviving siblings: Bryan Moser of Morton, Curtis Moser of East Peoria, and Mark Moser of Tremont, in addition to their spouses. Her mother-in-law, Barb Moser also survives her. Having a great fondness for children, Aimee was particularly fond of her numerous nieces and nephews, and especially her grandson Lucius.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ed and Esther Hoerr, and Joe and Wilma
Hoerr, as well as her father-in-law, Bob Moser of Morton, though we know she now stands
among them. Aimee’s life was defined by her relationships, and she fostered many. Her attitude would be characterized as never knowing a stranger, just friends she hadn’t yet met. Her passing is marked not by the size of the hole in our lives, but by the multitude of loved ones she fostered along the way. She will be sorely missed.
Her funeral will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont and from 9 to 9:45 am Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.
Memorials may be made for St. Jude Midwest affiliate, Apostolic Christian Harvest Call, or to Aimee's children.
