Amiliah Moss Obituary

Amiliah Grace Moss, 6,  of Delavan, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born November 14, 2017 in Peoria to Tom and Ashlynn Geary Moss. 

Surviving are her parents, Tom and Ashlynn Moss of Delavan; two brothers, Isaiah Gaither of Danvers and Wyatte Moss of Delavan; one sister, Adelynn Moss of Delavan; maternal grandmother, Amber (Bruce Phillips) Geary of Delavan, Joe (Peggy) Anderson of Pekin; her paternal grandparents, Jim (Sharon) Moss of Hopedale; maternal great grandparents, Wayne (Margaret) Geary of Delavan, Dave (Joan) Janzen of East Peoria, Dwayne (Bonnie) Bearce of San Jose, and J.D. (Connie) Lenz of Missouri; her loving dog, Willow; and uncles, Michael Moss of Hopedale, Bryce Geary (Tamrah Arnold) of Pekin, Karson Geary of Delavan, Cayden Anderson of Pekin; and aunt, Mya Geary of Delavan.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Breelyn Moss; paternal grandfather, Shawn Geary; and great great grandparents.

Amiliah attended Delavan Elementary Grade School where she was in kindergarten. 

She loved music and dancing, playing with cell phones, and had a personality that would light up the room she was in.  In her few short years, she left a special place in the hearts of many people.

Her funeral will be at 11:30 am Friday, May 24, 2024 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:15 am Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan.
