Audrey Moehring

  Audrey J (Adkins) Moehring, 86, of Washington Christian Village, formerly of San Jose, passed away at 8:08 pm Monday, September 23, 2019 at Unity Point Health Proctor in Peoria. She was born August 31, 1933 in Chandlerville to Isaac and Sarah VanDyke Adkins. She married Edward G. Moehring on November 21, 1954 in San Jose, and he passed away August 17, 2004. Surviving are her children, Sherie (Dave) Rademaker of Washington, Dennis (Debra) Moehring of Delavan, and Shellie (Duane) Messman of Topeka; seven grandchildren, Shauna (Nino) Campo, Adam (Katelyn) Rademaker, Douglas (Kelsey) Moehring, Derek Moehring, Blain Messman, and Jared (Carlene) Messman; five great grandchildren, Bella Clatfelter, Giada Campo, Addison Rademaker, Lilly Pearson, and Blake Pearson. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, one brother, three sisters -in-law, and three brothers-in-law. Audrey retired from Eureka Williams in Bloomington. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was a woman of deep faith. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Emden, where her funeral will be at 10:00 am Monday, September 30, 2019. Pastor John Schurter will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Sunday at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan, and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in San Jose. Memorials may be made to Washington Fire and Rescue or a charity of the donor's choice.
