Barbara J. Arbogast

Barbara J. Arbogast, 76, of Minier, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center. She was born on October 15, 1947, to Charles “Chuck” Henry Gose, Sr. and Gladys Nancy (Powell) Gose. She married Robert Arbogast on February 14, 1970, in Normal, IL., he survives.

Also surviving; her daughter, Cindy (Brillingston) Ulloa-Arbogast, two brothers; Donovan (Lisa) Gose and Dale (Valerie) Gose, two sisters; Brenda Little-Lechler (Mark), and Lynn Gose. Along with four grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Barb is preceded in death by her brother; Charles Henry Gose, Jr., nephew; Bill Little, great-grandson; Baby Ricky, and two great-nieces; Baby Olivia and Baby Ripley.

She loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog Maddie. She always prayed with Maddie every day. Barb also loved hearing funny stories about her daughter’s furbabies. Barb enjoyed spending time and doing fun activities and outings with her great grandchildren and family.

Barb worked at ISU as a Graduate Program Secretary for 23 years.

Barb was also very involved in church and an active member of Minier Assembly of God Church. She was apart of missions, BGMC, a Sunday school teacher, nursery worker, taught Prims years ago, putting together treat bags for the children’s Christmas Program each year, and loved doing the food bank in Minier, IL. Her heart for God and serving others and blessing them was her passion. Barb will be so dearly and deeply missed by many including her family, Maddie, and her daughter’s fur babies.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 12pm at he First Assembly of God in Minier, IL. Visitation will be held an hour prior, starting at 11a.m. Pastor Ron Marsiglio will be officiating. Burial will be privately held at Kampf Cemetery in Stanford.
