Becky Hartzell

Becky Hartzell passed away on Saturday, September 16th at Carle Health Methodist Medical Center.

Becky was born on February 7, 1948 in Columbus, OH, the daughter of John and Avis Hood. Becky married Gary Hartzell on November 17, 1986 in Paducah, KY, he survives.

Becky is also survived by her children: Heather Allred, Jennifer (Ed) Singeltary, Chad Allred, Stacy Allred, Chris Allred, Amanda (Jeff) Geary and Justin (Kate) Hartzell. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Becky was a nurse for 35 years. She last worked for Dr. Rhodora LeeHo in Pekin. Becky had a heart of gold and touched all who came in contact with her. She gave the best hugs and was loved by many.

Becky was an amazing wife, mother, mamaw and great-mamaw. She loved visiting with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, sewing, thrift shopping and spending time with her beloved husband, Gary.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will take place on Monday, September 25th from 4-6 at Judah International Ministries in Mackinaw. This will be an open-house style celebration with casual dress.
