Betty Lou Rocke

Betty Lou Rocke, 51, of rural Pekin, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born March 20, 1974 in Emmetsburg, IA to Art and Eula Heinold Mogler.  She married Galen Eugene Rocke on March 7, 2004 in Tremont, and he survives.

Also surviving are her parents, Art and Eula Mogler of West Bend, IA; her children, Emily Rocke, Megan Rocke, Caleb Rocke, Anika Rocke, and Kenna Rocke, all of Pekin; her siblings, June (Neil) Knobloch of Remington, IN, Lynn (Trisha) Mogler of Adel, IA, and Wendy (John) Fehr of West Bend; and her mother-in-law, Kathy Rocke of Tremont.

She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Jennifer Mogler; and her father-in-law, Nelson Rocke.

Betty found great joy in “doing” for others. She enjoyed making cards for people for various occasions, opening the door of their home for their children’s friends and young adults, and  loved to make meals for new mothers or someone in need.  Betty was a part time bookkeeper at American Rental and enjoyed helping in the scale house each fall at the local grain elevator.  Her greatest joy was her husband and their children.

She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont, where her funeral will be at 10:00 am Thursday, December 4, 2025.  Ministers of the church will officiate.  Visitation will be from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm Wednesday at the Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall in Tremont and from 9:00 to 9:45 am Thursday at the church.  Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
