Blake Anderson Obituary

Blake Allen Anderson, 30, of Delavan, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Mason County. 

He was born July 16, 1991 in Pekin to Eric Anderson and April Vonderheide. 

Surviving are his mother, April (Marc) Vonderheide of Delavan; his father, Eric Anderson of San Jose; paternal grandparents, Allen and Mandy Anderson of Coatsville, MO; maternal grandfather, Dave Martin of Delavan; and maternal step grandfather, Bert Urish of Green Valley; one brother, Ryne Kern of Greenview; one step-brother, Logan Vonderheide of Delavan; two sisters, Madison Anderson of Delavan and Hailey (Adair Rodriguez) Anderson of Forest City; one step-sister, Jessica Bumbalough of Marquette Heights; and his Boston Terrier,  Farley. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sue Urish and Bob Lawson. 

Blake loved to fish, ride his motorcycle, and his dog, Farley.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and spending time in Missouri with his grandparents. 

A visitation will be from 2 to 5 pm Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan.  Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.  A celebration of Blake’s life will be from 3 to 7 pm Sunday, August 22 at the Farmhouse Banquet Center in Delavan. 

Memorials may be made to Blake A. Anderson Memorial Fund at Mason City National Bank.
