Bobby Ulbricht Obituary

  Bobby Glenn Ulbricht has a Shepherd, his name is Jesus. He took him to heaven on September 15, 2019. Bobby was born July 13, 1936 in Evansville, IN. On June 30, 1956, he married the love of his life, Barbara (Dillender) Ulbricht. Bob owned and operated the Querry-Ulbricht Funeral home for 36 years until his retirement in 2005. He retired to receive a lung transplant. He was very active in the Jacksonville Lung Transport Support group and spoke publicly about being an Organ Donor. We are grateful to one young man who gave Bob 14 additional years to live. Bob spent his last few weeks at his daughter's house with his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He passed peacefully with his wife, daughter, Stacy and grandson, Jobiie beside him. Bob his survived by his wife of 64 years, his daughter Deborah Salah (Jay) and daughter Stacy Ledford. He is survived by 12 Grandchildren, Rustin Ledford, Shea (Charde) Ledford, Jobie (Toni) Ledford, Ebony (Troy) Schmidgall, Bo (Lainey) Ledford, Cali (Sabrina) Tanner, Shasta (Joshua) Thompson, Patience (Drake) Sinn, Promise (Nicolas) Wilson, True Ledford, Shiloh Ledford, Trinity Ledford; 12 Great Grandchildren. Bob was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast riding at the early age of 17 until he was in his 80's (oxygen tank on board). He and Barbara rode all over the country on their Harley. Bobby is a Veteran of the Army, active with the United way, was a member of Lion's Club, Masonic Lodge, Giddeon International, member of JAXHOG Chapter and North Judson HOG Chapter Clubhouse. He was one in a million Husband, Dad, Father and Funeral Director. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin (Martha) Ulbricht; two brothers, Bill and Walter Ulbricht and one sister, Bonnie Hoeing. His funeral will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN. A visitation will be from 2:00-8:00pm on Wednesday also at the mortuary. Burial will be at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville. In his business he saw the love pour in with each flower delivered or in lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
