Bonnie DuBois

Bonnie A. DuBois, 69, of Tremont, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at her home.

She was born September 16, 1954 to Virgil and Eva L. Range Johnson.  She married Don DuBois on September 9, 1989, and he survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Jennifer (Todd) Rever of Kappa; one granddaughter, Kayla Oliver of Kauai, HI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Eric Johnson.

Bonnie was a graduate of Chenoa High School.

She owned and operated Tremont Village Autobody with her husband, Don, for 34 years.

She attended Tremont United Methodist Church and  was a member of the Tremont Commerce Association, where she served as treasurer.

Bonnie enjoyed boating, camping, water skiing, and spending time in her flower gardens.  She loved taking vacations to Norfork Lake in Arkansas, she will be dearly missed by all. She loved her family so much and spending time with them.

Her family would like to thank Barnes Hospital Lung Transplant Team in St. Louis for nine more special years with Bonnie after her double lung transplant.

Her funeral will be at 10:00 am Monday, September 16, 2024 at Tremont United Methodist Church.  Pastor Paul Nolden will officiate.  Visitation will be from 3 to 6 pm Sunday, September 15, also at the church.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Metamora.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Lung Transplant Patient Care Fund in St. Louis.
