Brent Lindenfelser Obituary

Brent “Brenty” “B$” Lindenfelser, 50, of Delavan, formerly of Tremont, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at his home due to heart failure.

 

He was born December 8, 1972 in Pekin to Dale and Donna Puckett Lindenfelser.  He married Mary Christopher on September 5, 2015 at Brenty Park in Tremont, and she survives.

 

Also surviving are his father, Dale (Susan) Lindenfelser of Tremont; his mother, Donna Howard of Delavan; his mother-in-law, Carol Christopher of San Jose; his children, Kyle (Sarah) of San Jose, Kassidy (fiancé Sam) Lindenfelser of Lexington, KY, Kaidence Lindenfelser of Delavan, and Kara (lpawffh) Lindenfelser of Delavan; two grandchildren, Clyde and Charlie; siblings, Brock (Cali) Lindenfelser of Tremont, Megan McCallum of West Peoria, Jamie Howard of Pekin, Lisa (Paul Marvin) Lindenfelser of Howell, MI, and Sara Lindenfelser of Tremont; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lori (Rory), Matt (Carolyn), Luke (Lauren), and Liz (Jon); numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved German Shepherds.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Imogene Lindenfelser; his maternal grandparents; step-father, Curt Howard; one brother, Jonathan; and his father-in-law, Roger Christopher.

 

Brent enjoyed playing high school sports, especially football. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale ( Go Dawgs!) with a degree in recreational therapy.

 

He worked at Zeller in Peoria then worked for the State of Illinois at McFarland Mental Health in Springfield.

 

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, reloading, and target shooting. He obsessed over the Chicago Cubs,  the Chicago Bears, and college football.

 

His funeral will be at 2:00 pm Friday, March 3, 2023 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan.  Mark Estrop will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:45 pm Friday, also at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont. 

 

Memorials may be made to an educational fund for his daughters established at First National Bank in Tremont.
