Chris B. Galloway, 52, of Delavan, passed away, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born September 3, 1969, to Chuck and B.J. Smith Galloway. He married Lori Mitchell on August 26, 1989, in Tremont and she survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Gage (Tia) Galloway, Cody Galloway, Jacob Galloway, and Daniel Galloway all of Delavan; two brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother.
Chris was a pipefitter working on fire sprinkler systems.
He was a member of Prairie Bible Church in Delavan.
He never knew a stranger and was friends with everyone. He was a big kid at heart and was gentle and kind. He was always the first one to offer help to someone. Chris cherished his wife, his sons, and his daughter in law. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, spending time with his family, and gaming on his Xbox with family and friends.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Prairie Bible Church in Delavan. Pastor Dan Larimore will officiate. A visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be at Mackinaw Township Cemetery at a later date.
