Cindy L. Zeigler

Cindy L. Zeigler, 60, passed away February 23, 2026, at Arc of Normal nursing home. 

She was born April 13, 1965, in Mt. Vernon, IL to Marshall Wilson and Billie Sue Page.  She married Joaquin Munoz in Los Fresnos, TX and then later married Gale Zeigler in Hopedale, IL on August 14, 1999, and he survives. 

Cindy is also survived by her three daughters, Vanessa Poleto (Dan Harris), Veronica Munoz, and Mackenzie (Conner) Pacourek; four grandchildren, August Poleto, Johnathan Harris, Ares Pacourek, and Athena Pacourek; two brothers, Roger (Debbie) Wilson and Alan Wilson; and one sister, Misty Wilson. 

She was preceded in death by her Father Marshall Wilson, her Mother Billie Sue Quick, Stepdad Bill Quick, and Grandmother Loriane Newby. 

Cindy graduated from ISU in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work.  She graduated Cum laude.

She worked as a mortgage underwriter for many years, and she loved doing that and helping people.   

One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with family and friends. 

There will be a graveside service at a later date at Orendorff Cemetery in Hopedale.  Davis Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
