Clarence David Capps, 80, passed peacefully at Timbercreek Nursing Home in Pekin, IL at 11:15am May 7th, 2026.
Dave was born to Clarence Capps and Georgia Louise King on September 2nd, 1949, in Pekin, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant brother Wesley Dean Capps, and one son John Miller.
Surviving are his children Jeremy (Shawn) Capps of Pekin, Georgia Utech of Tremont, and David Capps of Pekin; Grandchildren Alisha (Sean) Stolz, Kiley Utech, CJ Utech, Gaige Boker, Jett Daniels, and Taylor Capps of Pekin, Jorja Miller of Mackinaw, and Maizie Capps of Tremont; Great grandchildren Silas and Emilia Stolz, and Harper Capps-Whittles of Pekin; Siblings Diane (Dean) Kunz of Normal, and Steve (Donna) Capps; and many nieces and nephews.
David loved to ride his Harley, enjoying many adventures on the road. He was skilled in metal crafting, making rings, and miniature motorcycles from everyday objects.
Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services at this time. Haensel Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw is handling the arrangements.
