Curtis E. Burrell

Curtis Edward Burrell, age 45, born in Pekin, IL on May 13, 1978, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023.

Curtis married Tara Reuter on September 23, 2006.  They together had one son, Noah Burrell.  He was a loving father and husband.

Surviving are his wife, Tara Burrell and son, Noah Burrell of Mackinaw; parents, Mark (Laurie) Burrell of Crown Point, IN and Linda Lazoen of Delavan; and four brothers; and one stepsister.

Curt loved everything involving cars and motorcycles. In his spare time, he could be found working on and racing them regularly. Ranking right up with them would be his love for Diet Pepsi and his wife’s humor. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his son Noah and watching him as he ran track in school.

Curt was a marine serving from 1997-1998.  Following his service, he began his career working for ADM/Bio Urja since 2001.

A private service for the family will be held. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan is handling the arrangements.
