Danny R. Cooper II

Danny R. Cooper II, 48, formerly of Peoria, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025 at Passways Place in Rochester, MN.

He was born July 6, 1976 in Pekin to Danny R. and Betty L. Hamilton Cooper.

Surviving are his mother, Betty Cooper of Peoria; two sons, Kyle Cooper of San Jose and Marco Johnson of Minnesota; three daughters, Cassidy Cooper, Kaidence Cooper, and Kara Cooper, all of San Jose; four grandchildren; one brother, Chad Cooper of Chesapeake, VA; and one sister, Tikina Cooper of Richmond, VA.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Danny was a welder in North Dakota working on the oil tanks.

He loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, and hunting. He was a loving, kind, and generous person who would do anything for you, even giving the shirt off his back.

His funeral will be at 6:00 pm Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw.  Pastor Tim Severt will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4 to 5:45 pm Sunday at the funeral Home.
