David Webb

David Michael Webb, 71, of Tremont, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN.

He was born October 22, 1949 in Peoria to Norman Fredrick and Ruth Anna Rinker Webb. He married Cynthia Albert on June 24, 1967 and she survives.

Also surviving are eight daughters, Jenive (Dan) Isaacs of Austin, TX, Bethany Miller of Tremont, Sarah (Terry) Boyd of Tremont, Emily (Austen) Salusbury of Austin, TX, Jessie Webb of Omaha, NE, Abagail (Larry) Boyd of Mackinaw, Ruthanna (Ben) Vandermyde of Morrison and Malinda (Joel) Newlin of Peoria; 25 grandchildren, Kelsi, Allison, Zach, Ava, and Sophia Miller, Michael (Ellie), Christopher, Cynthia, Nathan, Megan, and Bella Boyd, Tabitha, Raymond Salusbury, Connor, Kaitlyn and Corey Boyd, Jude Newlin, Alex, Austin, Madison Isaacs, Ryan, Matthew, Parker, Serena, Connor; one brother, James (Cheryl) Webb of Danvers; father in law, Ted Albert and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Norman and Joe Webb; one sister, Pamela Conzo.

David was a tool maker at Caterpillar Inc. for 35 years.

He served in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1969-1971.

He was a 20 year member of Tremont Rescue, a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria, Pekin Civic Chorus and helped at the Share Closet in Tremont.

He loved to travel with his grandchildren, camping with his family and going on mission trips to Haiti.

His funeral will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. Pastor Jeff Anderson will officiate. A visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.
