Della Schweigert Obituary

Della L. Schweigert, 92, of Tremont, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.

She was born July 26, 1929, in Princeville to John and Hulda Schneider Streitmatter. She married Willard D. Schweigert on February 22, 1959, in Peoria, and he passed on July 4, 2008.

Surviving are three sons, Clark (Janet) Schweigert, Don (Magdalena) Schweigert, and Robin Schweigert, all of Tremont; one daughter Cherie (Drake) Moser of Bluffton, IN; one granddaughter, Ashley (Tom) Jones and their daughter, Finley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Milford Streitmatter; four sisters, Violet White, Evelyn Reeser, Gladys, and Bernice; two special aunts, Emma and Martha Schneider.

Della attended the Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont.

Her funeral will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. Ministers of the church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday, December 13, 2021, and one hour before the service, both at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.
