Dennis Livengood Obituary
Dennis R. Livengood, 73, of Pekin, formerly of Delavan, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born November 19, 1950 to George “Jiggs” and Agnes “Aggie” Eeten Livengood.
Surviving are his children, Eric (April) Livengood of Pekin and Joslyn Livengood of Green Valley; five grandchildren, Gabby Runyon, Benjamin Livengood, Layne Livengood, Kade Green, and Ella Green; two great grandchildren, Brynlee Runyon and Ellie Rudd; one sister, Judy (Terry) Pomrenke of Pekin; and one niece, Dalinn Pomrenke of Pekin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one nephew, Todd Pomrenke.
Dennis was happily retired as a union laborer.
He served in the United States Army National Guard.
He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, golfing, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
Cremation has been accorded and there will be no services. Burial will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan at a later date. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan is handling the arrangements.
