Dian Horner Obituary

Dian Horner, 73, of Normal, formerly of Armington, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at McLean Country Nursing Home in Normal.

She was born July 28, 1949, in St. Louis, MO to Ishmal and Lois Nail Shepherd. She married Kyle Horner on September 2, 1967.

Surviving are one daughter, Angie (Brian) Huonker of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Levi, Logan, Lily, and Brittain Huonker; and Ashtyn Grant; one great grandchild, Nash Moore; one brother, Dean (Cheryl) Shepherd of Alabama; two nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Stacie Grant.

Dian worked at State Farm in Bloomington until she retired in 2014.

She was a member of Minier Christian Church in Minier, where her funeral will be at 11:00 am Friday, August 19, 2022. Pastor Rusty Richards will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:45 am at the church. Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery in Armington. Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Minier is handling the arrangements.
