Dolores D. Lee, 90, of Pekin went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
She was born September 25, 1932 in Williamsfield to Leonard and Irene Robinson Swanson. She married Kenneth Lee Sr. on May 28, 1993.
Surviving are her husband; two children, Vicki (Gregg) Worrell of Mapleton and Rick (Marsha) Dierdorff of Yorkville; three step-children, Kathy (Joe) Gunther of East Peoria, Cindi Swearingen of East Peoria, and Kenneth Lee Jr. (Jeri) of Galesburg; five grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley (Donald) Litwiller of Eureka; one brother, Fred (Karen) Swanson of Trivoli.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Dee retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company in Morton. She was an accomplished pianist and loved music and dancing. In her earlier years she enjoyed boating, and after retiring she and Ken were able to travel. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7)
To honor her wishes, the family will have a private graveside service in Mackinaw Township Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw.
