Donald B Cole

Donald Beckett Cole, 66, of Tremont, passed away at 5:39 pm Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria. 

He was born January 24, 1955 in Peoria to Richard and Maxine Brumfield Beckett Cole.  He married Debbie Fensterman on July 22, 1978,  They celebrated 43 years together.

Surviving are his wife, Debbie Cole of Tremont; his son, Shaun Cole of Tremont; daughter, Stefanie; sister, Nancy (Hal) Moore of Spring Hill, KS; two sisters in law, Sara Cole of Peoria and Barb (Rick) Luick of Tremont; one brother in law, Don Fensterman; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bob Cole

Don worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 44 years and retired September 1, 2017.

He loved to listen to music.

He was a member of Tremont Baptist Church, where his funeral will be at 10:00 am Friday, August 6, 2021.  Pastor Noah Lee will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
