Donald Hintz

Donald E. Hintz, 74, of Delavan, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home.

He was born November 15, 1946 in Peoria to John A. and Emma L. Weyhrich Hintz.  He married Debra F. Butler on June 28, 1970 in Delavan, and she passed away January 10, 2016.

Surviving is one daughter, Emily Sarah Hintz of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Scott Hintz on October 19, 2020.

Don worked at the Delavan High School as a custodian for over 25 years and was a member of New Life Christian Church in Morton.

He enjoyed working side by side with his wife whether it be in the garden or doing home repairs.

Cremation has been accorded.  A visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan.  A graveside service will be at 1:30 pm Saturday at Sand Prairie Cemetery, rural Green Valley.  Pastor Nick Oyler will officiate.
