Donald Slack Jr. Obituary

Donald E. Slack Jr., 65, of Bloomington, formerly of Tremont, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington.

He was born September 30, 1955 in Hopedale to Donald E. and Alma B. Guile Slack Sr. He married Deanna Duits on May 11, 2012, and she survives.

Also surviving are his children, Angelia Rose of Springfield, Jennifer Clanton of Springfield, Melissa Slack of Riverton and Uriah Lindsey of Bloomington; one stepson, Saxon Lindsey of Airway Heights, WA; 13 grandchildren and one sister, Karen Slack of Tremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Donald graduated from Tremont High School and enjoyed playing guitar, collecting rocks and drawing.

His funeral will be at 11:00 am Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. Pastor Randy Hall will officiate. A visitation will be from 9:30-10:45 am before the service. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Tremont.
