Donna Dorsey Obituary

Donna J. Dorsey, 91, of Pekin, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria.

She was born July 12, 1929 in Hopedale to Otto and Elizabeth Diegel Schnitker. She married Leo H. Dorsey on December 2, 1950 in Delavan and he passed away on November 19, 1998.

Surviving are one son, Robert Lee (Lilly) Dorsey of Bartonville; one daughter, Connie (Willie) Miller of League City, TX; five grandchildren, Kathryn (Alex) Dorsey-Yesis and their son, Gracian Yesis, Tim Dorsey and his children, Zodianne Johnstone-Dorsey, Rouri Ramsey-Dorsey, and Sawyer Ramsey- Dorsey, Holly Dorsey and her children, Landen Smith and Londyn Goranson, Kendra Rygiewicz, Trevor Rygiewicz.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Schnitker.

Donna was a homemaker and helped her husband at the Goodfield Milling Co. in Goodfield for many years.

A private family graveside service will be at Orndorff Cemetery in Hopedale. Her son-in- law, Willie Miller will officiate. There will be no visitation. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
