Donna Stone

Donna L. Stone, 78, of Pekin, formerly of Delavan, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at her home.

She was born September 13, 1945 in Chester, IL to William and Ola Nelson Beisner. She married Ronald Stone Sr. on December 14, 1963 in Gorham, IL and he survives.

Also surviving are her children, Lisa Ortman of Pekin, and Ron (Buffi) Stone Jr. of Deer Creek; four grandchildren, Dustin Stone, Cody Stone, Corbin Tomm, and Skylar Mullens; six great grandchildren, Asher, Gresyn, Felicity, Bentley, Oakley, and Zeplynn; her siblings, Alma White of Ava, Billie Ruth Gale of Gorham, Lester Beisner of Anna, Dale Beisner of Ava, and Connie Morber of Campbell Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Doris Lunsford, Robert Beisner, Jim Beisner, Raymond Beisner, and Gary Beisner.

Donna graduated from Gorham High School. She worked in real estate, was an accountant, worked at the Holiday Inn in Pekin as the general manager, and retired from Dr. Mark E. Glesne’s Office in January 2008, where she worked as the office manager.

She enjoyed working with plants and gardening, socializing and meeting new people, and loved spending time with her family.

Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services. Davis - Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
