Donna Belle Anderson

Donna Belle Anderson, 93, of Delavan, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Lincoln Christian Village in Lincoln.

She was born May 29, 1929 in San Jose to Clarence and Florence Krusemark Garber. She married Louis Anderson on November 25, 1951 in Emden, and he passed away September 26, 2021.

Surviving are two sons, Keith L. Anderson of Delavan and Ivan D. Anderson of Emden; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one brother, Ernie (Patty) Garber of Delavan.

She was preceded in death by one son, Wayne D. Anderson on February 28, 1988; one sister, Betty Russell; and one brother, Laurence Garber.

Donna Belle was a loving homemaker, wife, and mother.  She and her husband farmed in Boynton Township for many years.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Emden and of the Cross and Crown Circle, and sang in the choir. She was a member of Armington Women’s Club, volunteered at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln for 17 years.

Her funeral will be at  10:30 am Friday, June 2, 2023 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Emden.  Chaplain Ryan Edgecombe and Pastor Keith Ray will officiate.  Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:15 am, also at the church.  Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Emden.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan is handling the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Emden.
