Douglas Dennis Obituary

Douglas S. “Doug” Dennis, 64, of Manito, passed away at 10:06 am Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his home.

He was born July 13, 1956 to James “Jim” and Marilyn Hitchcock Dennis.

Surviving are one niece and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and a special friend, Rosy Knackmuhs.

Doug farmed most of his life in the Mason County area.

He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, arrowhead hunter, mushroom hunter and loved feeding the birds, especially the orioles.

A private graveside service will be at Orndorff Cemetery in Hopedale. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
