Douglas Duane Tucker

Douglas Duane Tucker, 62, of Tremont, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Emergency Room in Peoria, IL.

He was born on March 25, 1961 in Peoria, IL. to Clyde and Zelma (Pease) Tucker.

Doug married his high school sweetheart, Jayne Chambliss on May 23 1981, and she survives.

Also surviving are his daughters, Whitney (Brian) Carver, Cydnee (Jerad) Litherland, and  his son, Jaxon Tucker (fiancé Aliza Mian); as well as grandchildren, Maddison, Owen, Jensen, Aubrilyn, Johnathon, and Briggs; his mother, Zelma Tucker; three sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Doug was a loving husband, father, and papa. He loved the Lord and enjoyed teaching Sunday School for over 10 years. He always had a smile on his face and a dad joke to share.

He enjoyed fishing, pickle ball, golf, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Fighting Illini, and Manchester United.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024 at First Mennonite Church in Morton, IL. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. There will be a luncheon at First Mennonite Church following the burial. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tremont Park District.
