Duane A. Miller

Duane A. Miller, 75, of Tremont passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026 at his home.

He was born August 3, 1951 to Edward C. and Doris Musselman Miller.  He married Cynthia Bernier on June 5, 1976 at the Tremont Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Cynthia; his children, Sarah (Daniel) Frohberg, Joseph (Carrie) Miller, Catherine (Mark) Sandschafer, and Thomas (Tiffany) Miller, all of Tremont; 10 grandchildren, Hannah (Will) Avery, Donavan Frohberg, Drew Frohberg, Michael (Ashton Cecil) Miller, Riley Miller, Charlie Miller, Connor Gordon, Tanner Sandschafer, Jacob Sandschafer, and Thomas Miller; one great grandson, Barrett Miller; his siblings, Russell Miller of Tremont, Elaine (Randy) Staff of Dublin, OH, and Marijane Foote of Tremont; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law, Norma Miller.

Duane graduated from Tremont High School and was a lifelong farmer in the Tremont area.

He was a member of Tremont FFA and Ag of the Past.

He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

A private family funeral will be at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont.  Pastors Noah Lee and David Craig will officiate.  There will be no visitation.  Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.

Memorial may be made to Tremont FFA Scholarship Fund.
