Earl Sauder Obituary

Earl C. Sauder, 94, of Morton, formerly of Tremont and Groveland, entered his eternal home on  Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. 

He was born January 25, 1928 in Peoria to Levi & Clara Lindoerfer Sauder.  He married the love of his life, Glenna M. Bolliger on June 26, 1949 in Tremont, who passed away on April 5, 2022. 

Surviving are four sons, Steve (Mary) Sauder of Tremont, Bruce (Becky) Sauder of Morton, Marv (Mary) Sauder of Morton, and Gregg (Cindy) Sauder of Tremont; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; one sister, Marlene Kaiser of Tremont. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Derek Sauder; and one brother, Robert Sauder. 

Earl was a farmer all his life where he and Glenna worked together as a team.  He was also a partner with his brother Robert in the agricultural business and on the farm. 

He dearly loved his family, young people and his Lord by serving as Sunday School teacher.  He served on the Caribbean World Relief board by providing water well aid to the people in Haiti.   He also served the community as a Groveland 4-H leader, member of the Groveland Grade School Board, and Morton’s Rural Fire District board.   

He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont, where his funeral will be at 10:00 am Saturday, August 6, 2022.  Ministers of the church will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont and from 9:00 to 9:45 am Saturday at the church.  Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.  

Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. The family wants to thank all of the Restmor staff for their loving care they provided during his stay.
