Eileen Hazelman

Eileen Hazelman, 103, formerly of Tremont, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.

She was born March 5, 1920 in Delavan to William and Kathryn Diekhoff Moehring.  She married John E. Hazelman on June 30, 1940 in Pekin, and he passed away February 19, 2010.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Don) Hatch of Morton; two grandchildren, Theresa (Mark) Rogers and John Lenox; five great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.

Eileen was a homemaker and was a substitute rural mail carrier in the Tremont area for many years.

She was an active member of the Tremont Baptist Church and its women’s group.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing.

Her funeral will be at 11:00 am Monday, November 6, 2023 at Tremont Baptist Church.  Pastor Noah Lee will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:45 am Monday also at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Tremont.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
