Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Hendershott(Elliott), age 86, of Groveland passed away Friday morning, December 30th, 2022.
She was born November 4th, 1936 in Edgar County, Illinois, daughter of the late Omar and Mary Elliott. She married William Hendershott in 1960 and raised three sons.
During her life she was a Boy Scout Den Mother, a recycler who assisted in local paper drives, a member of the Tremont Historical Society, a member of the Tremont Investment Club and a president of the Tremont Junior Women’s Club. Elizabeth graduated from William Woods College in Fulton Missouri. She was a member of the Tremont United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed painting, bird watching, travel and entertaining friends and family.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband William, their three sons and their wives; David(Lori) of Tremont, IL, Mark(Terri) of The Dalles, OR and John(Kris), of Bloomington, IL and six grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the Tremont United Methodist Church.
At Elizabeth's request, there will be no funeral or service.
