Florence Otto Obituary

Florence L. Otto, 96, formerly of Danvers, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at Heritage Health in El Paso.

She was born June 29, 1925 to Robert and Dora Taylor Dickson. She married Earl R. Otto on October 26, 1946, and he passed away January 27, 2005.

Surviving are nine children, Bruce (Marilyn) Otto of Nevada, Alan (Sharon) Otto of Texas, Dennis Otto of Wyoming, Susan (Steve) Layne, Patrick (Mary) Otto, Diane (Stephen) Reid, Michael (Ila) Otto, Jan (Mark) Upchurch, and David (Angie) Otto, all of Illinois. She was blessed with 25 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda Otto Meseke; one granddaughter, Amanda; one grandson, Stevie; one great granddaughter, Morgan; one great grandson, Saul; two sisters and five brothers.

She enjoyed traveling to Florida every winter.

Her funeral will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Mackinaw. Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Parklawn Cemetery in Danvers.
