Glenna Pflederer

Glenna Jean Pflederer, 86, of Peoria, formerly of Tremont,  passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 at Apostolic Christian Skylines in Peoria. 

She was born on January 30, 1937 in Fairbury, Illinois to Chris B. and Hannah Schurter Pflederer. 

She is survived by her sister, Leona Ivie and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister. 

Glenna worked 10 years at Pekin Insurance, 30 years at Caterpillar Inc. in Morton, Illinois. After retiring in 1996, she spent 10 summers working at YMCA camps in Estes Park, Colo and Silver Bay New York. 

She was active with RSVP volunteering at Methodist and Proctor Hospitals,  We Care,  Midwest Food Bank, and quilting at her church. She was a member of Sheridan Road Apostolic Christian Church. 

A private funeral service will be held at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.
