Gloria J. "Glowster" Thompson, 77, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 8:23 am Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Delavan.
She was born February 22, 1943 in Bloomington. Her parents were James and Lolly Barnes Watson. She married Von Thompson.
Surviving are her daughter, Valerie Thompson of Delavan; two grandchildren, Jesse and Cody Thompson, both of Delavan; two brothers, Mike Watson of Bloomington and Gary (Robin) Watson of Morton; two sisters, Nancy (Ural) Baker of Minier and Edie (Tom) Cohoon of Norman, OK,
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Gloria retired as a HR/Payroll Specialist at the Tropicana Casino in Las Vegas.
She enjoyed bowling, jigsaw puzzles, and reading.
A celebration of Gloria’s life will be at a later date. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan is handling the arrangements.
