Harley Dean Mount, 75, of Delavan, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home.
He was born May 30, 1949 in Green Valley to Henry and Bessie (Martin) Mount.
Surviving are one daughter, Marsha Hasty ; two sons, Rodney of Delavan and Brian of Manito; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Sears of Madison, MO and Jane Hinman of Tremont; one brother, Henry (Ethel) Mount of NE; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bill Mount; and two sisters, Elizabeth Carey and Linda Kern.
Harley farmed with his father for many years.
He was a member of Delavan American Legion.
Harley had an accident in 2019 and was not able to walk ever again.
The family would like to thank Terry Graham as his caretaker and all the ladies that helped take care of him.
A celebration of Harley’s life will be Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Farmhouse Banquet Center in Delavan from 1-4 pm. Burial of ashes will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan is handling the arrangements.
