Ira Redeem Steiner

Ira Redeem Steiner, of Tremont, was gathered into his heavenly Fathers arms on February 28, 2025.  He was born on March 1, 2025 after being entrusted to his parents for a fleeting time of 18 weeks and 5 days in his mother’s womb.  He gripped and left in our hearts an unforgettable impression of his precious body that we got to cherish after his birth.  He was perfectly designed but destined for a greater purpose than our hearts can understand. 

Surviving are his parents, Trent and Meadow (Sauder)Steiner; maternal grandparents, John and Misty Sauder; paternal grandparents Todd and Valerie Steiner;  maternal great grandmother, Shirley Green; paternal great grandparents, Joseph and Marcella Steiner and Kenneth Dietz; also surviving are many special aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by one uncle, Joel Steiner; maternal great grandparents, James Green and Charles and Miriam Sauder and paternal great grandmother Mardell Dietz.  

His funeral will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Apostolic Christian Church of Tremont.  Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont and one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont. 

The parents are very appreciative of the compassionate medical care of many during and after Ira’s precious weeks on earth.

Memorial may be made to Tremont Rescue or St. Joseph Medical Center directed to CHOI.
