Janet C. DuBois, 84, of Groveland, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin.
She was born February 9, 1937 in Tremont to George G. and Eileen Bohlander Hinman. She married David DuBois on January 31, 1957 in Bartonville.
Surviving are three daughters, Colette (Richard) Buehl of Tremont, Nikki DuBois of Tremont and Jacque (Mark) Sutton of Groveland; five grandchildren, Brittany (Barry) Moldenhauer of Tremont, Josh DuBois of Tremont, Carlie (Nathan) Winterroth of Orlando, FL, Codie (Ryan Simmons) Dickson of Groveland and Brooke-Lyn (Mitchell Dumser) DuBois of Tremont; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, George Hinman of Peoria and Ken (Carolyn) Hinman of Tremont; five sisters, Kay Cunningham of Pekin, Eva Lyn (Wayne) Mohr, Judy (Bill) Reidner, Dianna Davis, and Sherry McDonald, all of Tremont.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rusty DuBois; one brother, Kerry Hinman; three sisters, Phyllis Smith, Carol Grubb and Kathi Bertke.
In her early years, she helped establish DuBois Autobody in Tremont. She also taught at Logos Christian School in Morton and eventually retired from OSF Morton Pediatrics.
She was a member of Trinity Church in Morton where she was very active in the Community Harvest Food Pantry.
Cremation will be accorded. A private service will be held at a later date with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
