Jeanette Wohrley

Jeanette M. Wohrley, 74, of Tremont, passed away Friday, January 21, 2026 at Washington Senior Living.

She was born June 26, 1951, in Peoria to Frank and Velda Waldo (Walker).

Surviving are one daughter, Susan of East Peoria, IL and one grandchild, Shaun of East Peoria, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Terry; and recently by her older sister Patricia.

Jeanette worked as a clerk at Casey’s General Store in Tremont and North Pekin for the better of 25 years before moving to Morton Kroger and then retiring.

Her visitation will be at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont on Saturday, February 7th from 3:00pm to 4:30pm.  Guests are requested to wear blue in Jeanette’s memory.  Her ashes will be interred at Swan Lake Cemetery at a later date.    

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
