Joy A. (Arndt) Green

Joy A. Green, 75, of Peoria Heights, IL. Passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at her home. She was born in Peoria on February 14, 1948, to William and Anna (Eugster) Arndt.

She is preceded in death by two brothers; Larry Arndt who passed on May 18, 2002, William “Bill” Arndt, Jr. who passed on January 8, 2020, and a granddaughter, Rylee Kennington who passed on Nov. 28, 2017. Her ex-husband James Green also preceded her in death on December 17, 2007.

She is survived by her daughter; Kelli (Marc) Kennington, brother; Ted (Tina) Arndt, sister; Susy (Craig) Riediger, and grandson; Jakob Kennington.

Joy was the owner and operator of The Trolley in West Peoria for many years. Prior to that, she worked at Eagle Country Market for 15 years. She also loved watching her grandchildren play sports.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held on February 22, 2024 from 4-7 at Gebby's in Peoria.
