Karen Brashers Obituary

Karen Sue Dawson Brashers, 68, of Pekin formerly of Farmington, passed away, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at her home.

She was born February 4, 1953, in Peoria to Fred and Viola Jennings Dawson.

Surviving is her life partner, Todd Thome of Pekin; three daughters, Patricia (Tim) Stout of East Peoria, Donna (Josh) Farnam of Lincoln, and Kathleen (Mike) Carr of Goodfield; four grandchildren, Dawson, Anna, Cheyenne, and Josephine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Barbara Dawson; one daughter, Lindsey Brashers.

She worked as a waitress and a FedEx Driver.

Karen enjoyed sewing, quilting and cake decorating.

Cremation has been accorded. A visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont.
