Karl M. Nattier

Karl M. Nattier, 89, of Tremont passed away February 1, 2026 at his home. 

He was born November 9, 1936 to John E. and Ruth E. Carter Nattier in Wenona, IL.  Karl married M. Eileen Tate January 1, 1956 and she survives. 

Karl is survived by his two sons, Ernie (Cherie) Nattier of Tremont and Scott (Marni) Nattier of Tremont; two daughters, Patricia (Danny) Willis of Hopedale and Karleen Head of Pekin; 11 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren; and one sister Myrna (Tom) Murfin of Vernon, IL.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers John Daniel and Robert Eugene; one great granddaughter Alyssa Simmons; and two sons-in-law Ronnie Head and Michael Watkins. 

Karl was a self-employed truck driver and mechanic.  He last worked for Wayne Litwiller Excavating. 

He was a member of the Patoka Christian Church.

Karl loved restoring antique tractors with his boys and loved going to tractor pulls.  One of his great joys in life was spending time with his grandchildren. 

There will be a private family funeral service at Davis Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont.
