Kathryn Peredetto Obituary

Kathryn “Katie” Peredetto got her wings and went to walk with the angels on December 12, 2021.

She was born on February 8,1940 in West Jersey IL. She married Joseph Peredetto on July 14, 1963, he preceded her in death on October 4, 2014.

She was also preceded in death by her parents John and Laurell Beutel and one sister Marilyn O’Dea.

Surviving are three daughters, Cindy (Tim) McDonough, Deb (Steve) Long and Connie (Dave) Wort all of Washington IL. 5 grandchildren Stephanie McDonough, Natalie Porter, Jenna Willis, Kayla McDonough and D.J. Wort. As well as 8 great grandchildren Tyler, Ariah, Violet, Juniper, Jordan, Sophia, Olivia and Jaxon.

She worked at Tremont High School in the early 60’s and also worked at District 50 Schools in Washington for 13 years. She was a very religious and loving wife, mother and grandmother. We will always carry her memory in our hearts. She enjoyed church, taking care of her cat Miss. Kitty, playing bingo and spending time with her great grandchildren and best friend Marilyn. The family would like to thank the staff of Proctor Hospital Emergency Room for their care and support it was greatly appreciated.

A Graveside services will be held on December 16, 2021, at 11:00 at Antioch Cemetery in Tremont. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
