Keith Lee

Keith I. Lee, 79, of Mackinaw, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Emergency Room.

He was born July 17, 1944 in Peoria to Harold M. and Clara M. Irwin Lee.  He married Jacquelyn Blumb on June 13, 1965 in Peoria, and she passed away December 25, 2023.

Surviving are his children, Jeffrey (Shelley) Lee of Mackinaw and Rebecca (Mike) Rich of Lexington; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marilyn Jackson.

Keith served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient.

He graduated from Tremont High School, where he was a tremendous athlete.

Keith farmed in the Mackinaw area for most of his life and was a member of the Mackinaw American Legion.

He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan, but his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

His funeral will be at 11:00 am Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont.  Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:45 am Thursday at the funeral home.  Private burial will be in Mackinaw Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Easter Seals or Camp Hope Foundation in Bloomington.
