Kenneth W. Crismon, 69, of Minier, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Carle Heath Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
He was born January 29, 1956 in Bloomington to Billy K. and Beverly Graber Crismon.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Billy and Dana Crismon of Minier; his mother, Beverly A. Hickey of Minier; his children, Drew Crismon of Atlanta, IL, Micki (Brandon) Lilienthal of Eureka; step-children, Heather and Johnny, both of Eureka; six grandchildren; one great grandson; two brothers, Tommy (Fuji) Crismon of Stanford and David (Amy) Crismon of Pittsburgh, PA; one sister, Sherri (Bruce) Hanig of Morton; two step brothers, Jeff Meyers of Portland, OR and Dan Ward of Nebraska; and one step-sister, Susan (Fred) Hoeft of Normal. Kenneth adored his nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by one nephew, Kris Hanig.
He served in the United States Army and worked at Parson’s in Roanoke.
Kenneth was a good mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. He also liked drag racing, watching the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. Kenneth would ride his ebike over to dad’s to spend time with him.
Cremation has been accorded. A celebration of life will be at a later date. Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home in Minier is handling the arrangements.
The family would like to thank Chuck Peifer for his friendship, love, and care for Kenneth over the past weeks and months.
