Linda Rockey Obituary

Linda K. Rockey, 70, of Tremont, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at her home.

She was born October 31, 1952 in Pekin to Truman E. and Sara Jane Moore Phillips. She married Gary Rockey on June 17, 1980 in Pekin, and he survives.

Also surviving are his daughters, Sheera (Jamey Bieneman) of Tremont and Jessica Rockey of Tremont; four grandchildren; 3 ½ great grandchildren; one brother, Gene Phillips of Milner, GA; and one sister, Laura Thomas of Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Wesley Eugene Rockey.

She was a homemaker and loved being with her family. She was a great cook and enjoyed baking.

A memorial service will be at 7:00 pm Friday, March 24, 2023 at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. Pastor Penny Frame will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:45 pm Friday at the funeral home.
