Lori Lohnes

Lori Ann Lohnes, 63, of Tremont, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born on February 9, 1962 in Pekin to Delmar and Peggy (Meyer) Lohnes.

She is survived by her sister, Michele Lohnes; stepbrother, Donnie Meyer; and two step-sisters, Christine (Larry) Worlow and Sandy (Jim) Armstrong.

Lori graduated from Pekin High School and attended ICC where she acquired an associate degree in Horticulture.

She loved to spend time in her garden, tending to her flowers and landscaping. Lori was an avid reader of science fiction and horror books. She enjoyed playing the guitar and loved listening to Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi.

Her funeral will be at 11am Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Davis Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont. Pastor Noah Lee will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Tremont.
