Louis E. Bowles

Louis Edward Bowles, 79, of Mackinaw, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at his home. 

He was born June 20, 1944 in East Prairie, MO to David L. and Mabel Branam.  He married Judy Carol Smith on June 12, 1964, and she survives.

Also surviving are one son, Brian G. Bowles of Evansville, IN; one grandson, Ausitn Lane Farber; three sisters, Marie Dailey of Havana, Connie (George) Belt of Smithland, KY, and Karen Kester of Sequim, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Nikki Janine Farber; three brothers; and one sister.

Louis worked at Caterpillar Inc in Morton, last working as a shot blast operator for 30 years.  He retired in 1996.

He was a St. Louis Cardinal fan.

Cremation has been accorded and there will be no services.  Burial will be in Dillon Cemetery in Tremont.  Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
